ACCEPTED WASTE MATERIAL

Waste Material being transported must be inert by nature and consist mainly of construction and demolition waste, which is classed as General Solid Non Putrescible Waste in NSW (EPA Waste Classification Guidelines):

  • Concrete (unreinforced)
  • Concrete (reinforced)
  • Bricks (clean)
  • Mixed Concrete / Bricks
  • Clean Fill
  • Clean Fill Mixed with Grass
  • Mixed Fill – Concrete / Bricks
  • Timber
  • Plasterboard
  • Mixed C&D – As above with small quantities of Metal / Timber / Plastic
  • GSW Soils (pending reports, classification and EHP Soil permit)

PROHIBITED WASTE MATERIAL

The material being transport to QLD may not include the following:

  • Asbestos or materials containing asbestos
  • Hazardous Waste
  • Putrescible Waste, i.e. Food Waste or general Garbage
  • Contaminated Waste
  • Green waste (large fines will occur from DPI)
  • Liquids
  • Chemicals
  • Medical Waste
  • Dead Animals
  • Previously burnt out waste material
  • Smouldering waste
  • Tires
  • Wet Clean Fill
  • Asphalt
